In this keynote address, presented at the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association annual conference at Kripalu Center, October 2006, Amy addresses the need to be compassionate towards one’s self as we cultivate awareness and live consciously in a world full of suffering. She shares stories, cites deities from the Hindu and Buddhist traditions that epitomize human values, and reminds us that sadhana is a source of inspiration and personal growth.
